Summer at UAL Short Courses is a dynamic and inspiring time—studios buzzing with creativity, new ideas taking shape, and people from all over the world coming together to learn, make, and share.

This summer, we’re inviting you to capture that energy for the chance to win a free online short course. Show us what summer school looks and feels like through your eyes. Whether it's behind-the-scenes moments, your creative process, or what you've made—we want to see it.

How to enter

To take part in the competition:

• Create content that reflects your UAL Short Course experience or something inspired by your course.
• Post it on Instagram or TikTok. Tag @UALShortCourses or use the hashtag #UALshortcourses in your post
• Two winners will be selected: one at the end of July 2025, and one at the end of August 2025.

What you can submit:

• A video diary of your short course experience
• A behind-the-scenes look at your creative process
• A review or summary of your course
• A photo series or video showcasing your work or outcomes

Free short course prize terms and conditions

By participating in this competition, entrants agree to the following:

1. UAL Short Courses may use submitted content for marketing purposes, including on its website, email communications, and social media channels. Credit will be given where possible.
2. Each winner will receive one free place on a UAL online short course, up to the value of 拢700.
3. The winner must meet the entry requirements for the selected course (e.g. age, skill level).
4. The winner must agree to UAL’s general Short Course Terms and Conditions. The chosen course must be booked before 30 September 2025. After this date, the prize will no longer be valid.
5. The free course may be transferred to another person with written approval from the original prize holder.
6. UAL reserves the right to offer an alternative course of equal or greater value if necessary. If the selected course exceeds 拢700, the winner must cover the remaining cost. The prize does not cover any additional costs associated with participation, including materials or software.
