Course description

Course overview

The UAL International Summer School for 11 to 15 year olds is a fun and intensive summer course designed to improve skills and techniques through creativity, experimentation and collaboration. The course will provide a chance to help build a portfolio for further study, experience art college life and meet like-minded individuals.

The UAL International Summer School offers students with a keen interest in art and design a unique opportunity to learn in an art school environment. Students will create work inspired and informed by London's rich cultural and social diversity, as they engage in a series of art and design projects.

Structured in a similar way to a foundation course in art and design, you will be helped to build and create work for a portfolio. Throughout the two-week programme, you will be encouraged to learn new skills, progress existing skills and express your ideas through discussions with your tutors and fellow students.

Read more about the course and see examples of previous student work in our UAL International Summer School course feature.
