Course overview
Used by designers for creating patterns and digital artwork, Adobe Illustrator allows designers to scale up to any size without losing quality. As a part of the Adobe Creative Suite, it integrates seamlessly with other applications such as InDesign, Photoshop and Flash.
This course will teach you key skills of Adobe Illustrator, an industry standard for the creation of vector graphics. You will learn the fundamentals of the software, its range of tools and some more advanced techniques to create vector illustrations.
This course is available both on campus or online.
Who this course is for
This course is ideal for artists and designers wishing to learn the fundamentals of vector design. The course gives an introduction to the building blocks of the software enabling students to develop their own vector image portfolio.
You do not need any prior knowledge of the software to join this course.

Tutor
Robert Aldous
trained at Ravensbourne College of Art where he qualified with a degree in Fine Art. He has a Masters Degree in Creative Entrepreneurship from the University of East Anglia. He is an experienced teacher and trainer with a PGCE from Goldsmiths and a cert Ed in Education.
Robert is an accomplished fine artist and has an extensive exhibiting portfolio; often using the combination of text and images. He works as a painter and poet often using installations to create works that make use of the exhibited environment.
